David Pubill (Lleida, 1980) obtained his M.Sc. degree in Telecommunications Engineering at the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) in July 2006.
From May 2005 to July 2006 he did his Master's thesis (with honours) titled "Handoff Optimization with Fuzzy Logic in 802.11 Networks" at the CTTC. Since August 2006, he joined CTTC as Research Engineer in the area of access technologies.
Prior to joining CTTC (2003-2005), he worked at CTiTI ("Centre de Telecomunicacions i Tecnologies de la Informació") as an undergraduate trainee designing radiant systems for TV, radio, Wi-FI and WiMAX, and participating in frequency planning for this technologies.
Research Lines
His current research interests include Wi-FI and WiMAX systems.
